Who We Are

Joshua LAppin
Founder & CEO
I am a long time martial arts professional with a wealth of experience and knowledge. I have competed at high levels in K1 Kickboxing, Muay Thai, MMA and Bare Knuckle Boxing. I've now been coaching for over 15 years.
I started my martial arts journey with Judo at the age of 6 and then I found K1 Kickboxing. I was first trained by Matthew Powell and since then I have moved around and learnt my craft from many top level coaches.
My passion for the sport runs deep and I strongly believe that this activity is the best thing you can do for a healthy body and a healthy mind.

Why not come on in and see what you think?
Scott Saunders
Coach
I have been practising Muay Thai for over 30 years.
Starting out at Woking Thai Boxing under the legend Mick Murphy where I had my first Muay Thai fights and learnt the importance of training 100% and the sheer buzz of fighting in the ring.
After this I trained with my brother Jesse Saunders at Shin Kick Muay Thai in Woking for many years which has given me a wealth of knowledge in the sport.
I Joined my friend Matt Powell at Colosseum in Haslemere focusing on the K1 Kickboxing rule set. Learnt a lot from this time covering K1, working the corner, fighter development and coaching.
I now coach with a great team at Conflict Fitness alongside Josh Lappin. Truly love the team around me and benefits of the Muay Thai/K1 training life style.
It’s a amazing sport which will give you both physical and mental strength and Conflict Fitness is a great place to learn and develop. See you there.

Luca CIpollone
Fighter and coach
I began training at the age of 12 at Conflict Fitness, where I quickly developed a deep respect and passion for the martial art of Muay Thai. I am an active fighter with aspirations to compete on the biggest stages. Having trained for well over 10 years, gaining valuable experience in the ring and a strong understanding of the mental and physical demands of the sport, I am grateful to now be part of the coaching team here at Conflict Fitness.
Coaching is more than just a role for me; it's a way to give back to a community and culture that has shaped who I am. I’m passionate about helping others develop their skills, confidence, and discipline through training. Whether you're stepping into the gym for the first time or have aspirations to compete, my goal is to help you grow not just as a fighter, but as a person.
